March Update

Hello everyone.

Soo much went on for Angel in March, and although I have blogged a little, thought I’d post a re-cap to update you all!

I will start with some good news, Angel recently recieved a Thank You letter from Alder Hey to inform us that we raised £35.44 from the bucket at her Welcome Home Party (these donations were kindly given for tea and coffee during the afternoon)

Angel also came over to visit me in March, and we went to watch my cousin Corey in his cage fight for the belt. Although he didn’t win Angel had a really good night and enjoys watching the fights!

As many of you know, Angel has also spent a lot of time in hospital this month. At both Blackpool Victoria and Alder Hey…

She continues to have problems with her legs and her speech… and now sometimes talks like this…

However, she’s now at home and happily back at school. Tests are ongoing and I will try to explain what is going on (endo/oncology) when we have more information… the lack of communication is increasingly difficult…

She’s back at school now though and has been practicing playing the flute, here’s a little video she made for you all:

Would also like to thank Kellie Smith, for making Angel this lovely bag. Angel described how she wanted it and Kellie has made her a ‘proton Angel’ design.

She now has big plans for some skins to bling up her wheelchair! Hopefully we will be able to get a UFPTI image or logo for them… we’ll let you know how that goes!

In other news, BBQ and Charity Race night tomorrow at The Clifton Arms in Blackburn! Will be a good fundraiser!!!
